Rodgin Cohen had his nomination as #2 at Treasury <a href="http://dealbook.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/03/12/cohen-is-withdrawn-from-consideration-for-treasury-post/?scp=1&sq=rodgin%20cohen&st=cse" rel="nofollow">withdrawn</a>. Some folks are starting to think this ethics-vetting may be a little <em>too</em> strict for (especially) Treasury's good. But after reading <a href="http://www.nakedcapitalism.com/2009/03/banana-republic-watch-rodgin-cohen.html" rel="nofollow">Yves Smith's post</a> on Cohen, I'm pretty happy he got stopped on the doorstep.
