Or is it Sen. Inhofe? They all look alike to me.

  1. magnolia says:

Yep that’s Vitter alright, but didn’t know Goldie Locks needed a pimp.

  2. Federati says:

    Don’t be silly…that’s Bill Clinton.

  3. magnolia says:

Nah, that’s Vitter, Goldie Locks has on too many clothes, wrong color of clothes and no handbag.

  4. Ben Cole says:

Just looking at the schnoz, I’d have to guess Henry Waxman.

  5. lotus says:

Dunno, Ben, I’d need (but don’t especially want) a closer look at the nostrils to call it Waxman. Except that he doesn’t have the permanent Clown Shoes.

  6. ThirdSouth says:

Vitter was the lone dissenter today, in committee, on Senator Clinton’s confirmation as Secretary of State. His rationale: he doesn’t like her husband. How 1958.

  7. a friend of the law says:

IF so, then other members of the committee will likely wish one day in the future that they had joined in his dissenting vote. While this may be against the grain of prevailing thought, I don’t think that she is a good selection for Secretary of State and think it is a big mistake by Obama — a decision that he will regret later.

And I cannot believe that most think it ok for Bill to continue to receive monies from foreign governments( eg Saudi Arabia) while Hillary is married to him and serving as Secretary of State. We have set a higher bar for conflicts of interest in such situations in MS for our local politicians, than apparently is being set for one of the highest positions in the nation. Yes, what your spouse does can indeed be imputed to you in MS for the purpose of determining conflicts of interest for public servants.

I predict that we will see many more conflicts of interest during Hillary’s tenure as Secretary of State —-the chickens will come home to roost in a most embarassing way for Obama’s administration. Like he did during the campaign and in refusing to select her as his running mate, Obama should have continued to keep his distance from the Clintons.

We have set a higher bar for conflicts of interest … in MS

    Uh-huh.

Oh, afotl, please be careful. You know, when someone straight-facedly says lots of silly things, after a time . . . it can dawn on folks that it’s not just what he says that’s silly.
