… the Daily Journal Asks:

UPDATE: Is Trent Lott a target in Wilson lawsuit against Scruggs, others?

I’m not sure “target” is the right word. I think I might use the word “mentionee.”

Think we’ll get a comment from the former Senator anytime soon, if ever?

I’d call the senatuh a “fulcrum” in this civil action.

Family relations must be in the crapper now.

“Linchpin” would also appear to describe Mr.Lott.

Civil is about Money, Right….Did Lott not hand his wealth off to someone named Anderson in his intercircle and professed to being one of the poorest Senators in DC.

So, At this point it’s not making a whole lot of sense to me. Eye’s wide open and trying to get brain around legal I don’t understand.

If Lott is Target…It could take Years and The Feds are setting on sideline to see what is uncovered by Wilson.

Could the current administration’s Justice Department, under Alberto Gonzales or his successor, have offered him a “resign and we’ll forget about it” deal?
