Jesse Sr. has a long history as a shake down artist. The apple usually doesn’t fall far from the tree. Suffice it to say, when there was one unamed candidate in the indictment who apparently was willing to play ball with the Guv in the Senate seat auction, Jr. was the first who came to mind. Perhaps its unfair, but my instincts from years of observing Jackson Sr. and his ilk started kicking in.

Then, too, they just might be offering him enough rope to hang himself — lying to the FBI is a federal offense. My advice: Don’t go without a lawyer. Better yet, politely decline the invitation and wait for the subpoena.
