Dr. X (who we should perhaps ask for professional wisdom on what seems to be Gov. Blagojevich’s only apparent defense– the man’s crazy) reminds readers that events in Chicago are no surprise to him:
Many Americans are shocked to learn from the Blagojevich indictment that G-Rod actually harbored an ambition to run for president in 2016. … I mentioned this in a post last July:
I know it sounds ridiculous, but Blagojevich wants to be president someday. Can you run for president if you’re in prison?
I think it would make major contributors nervous to attend a fund raiser in a federal penitentiary. Just too close to the edge.
Get a job in the prison print shop and make your own money. Or go to Parchman and master the art of altering money orders.
raise money for your campaign via computer scam if you are in Angola.
maybe he could get work release for fundraisers. Just convert those Secret Service agents to US Marshalls!
