Kycol, sending me this story on the unhealthiest, fattest, most heart-diseased/diabetic/toothless town in America, wows, “And just think: they never even mention Mississippi!”

There’s another bit to that story here:
    http://www.tucsoncitizen.com/ss/nationworld/102671.php
which is interesting as it contrasts Huntingdon W.Va (see above) with the supposedly healthiest town in the US, Burlington Vt.
Although ethnically similar, they are younger, more educated and richer in Vermont, so what came first, The KFChicken or the Uggh?
There’s 80,000 more democrats in W. Virginia than Vermont, but nearly 300,000 more republicans.
    Is this relevant/surprising/stereotyping?

Thanks for this excellent addition, Rodney. I’ll wager the essential difference is education, education, education.
