Fallows drafts a 28th Amendment to the Constitution

October 7th, 2008 @ 10:42 am - by lotus · 5 Comments

“No Person shall be elected President or Vice President without accepting a session of questioning by the press, such session to last no less than one hour and to be open to normally accredited members of the press in the same fashion as at Presidential news conferences. The questioning shall occur and the results shall be made freely available to the public at least one week before an Election is held.”

Three weeks to get it enacted.

Yes, I say yes to this amendment. Get that big-mouthed b*tch in front of “the American people” she wants SO badly to reach, and let her answer questions. What are they afraid of… she couldn’t be any more stupid than she’s already shown.

The president of Iran has given more press conferences on American soil than Palin. That’s unpatriotic and cowardly.

I wouldn’t trust this republican ticket to take charge of my country any more than I would have them run my campaign.

I say “yes” to the amendment as well but would like to add-”and both POTUS candidates must make available all medical records to include an assessment of mental as well as physical well being”.

AMEN!!! We deserve to know medical information for POTUS and Vice-POTUS!

I’d like a test to determine what percentage of the candidate is other human body parts, and what percent is asshole. This would be quite instructive for the electorate, given what we’ve just experienced with W.

Them would be *some* interesting test results, 3rdso.
