Currency in Prison: If it was April 1st, I’d suspect something fishy about this story

October 2nd, 2008 @ 2:55 pm - by NMC · 4 Comments

Here’s a great story on the WSJ site about the way vacuumed pack mackerel has become the currency of choice in prison.  One of the appeals is that no one wants to eat it.  As Paul Krugman notes, econ professors are going to view this story as a fine catch, puns and all.

A reminder to not let ourselves get too worked up over the election or who is in charge. We just can’t forget how to be free.
