If Peggy Noonan calls this bullshit it’s not just a speck, it’s knee deep. Is it just me or doesn’t she repel two truly independent voters for every Bible thumper she brings into the fold, and weren’t those thumpers never going to vote for Obama anyway?
Regardless of what’s being said behind closed doors, and what I’d give to be a fly on the wall there, campaign manager Steve Schmidt gave a pretty good email response, according to the LAT: “who cares?”. Tucker Bounds could learn a lesson or two from that.
