Reminds me of something about tigers and stripes.
Almost more shocking is the allegation that drilling offshore is going to bolster the US economy seems to be a valid argument on the floor of the United States Senate. The trickle down from private American oil companies has really helped buoy this economy over the past couple years.
Any more buoying like theirs, BBear, and I gonna croak.
I got a Newt Gringrich recording on the phone the other night asking for a $100 to $200 donation to help him convince Congress to allow drilling offshore, ANWAR, federal parks and wildlife reserves – basically anywhere there is oil. I make one campaign contribution to a Republican lately, and the SOB has given my name to the whole bunch. I don’t think I’m voting for him now.
