Obama’s shadow State Department

July 18th, 2008 @ 10:05 am - by lotus · 2 Comments

NYT’s Elizabeth Bumiller has an interesting story today on the Obama campaign’s foreign-policy arm. It sounds very much like a shadow State Department (and is apt to become the real thing if he wins). You won’t be surprised to learn that Obama’s operation — over 300 people divided into 20 teams based on regions and issues, reporting to a small core group at HQ — is much more extensive and organized than its McCain-campaign counterpart (a loose combine of about 75).

So I guess one of those teams is in Denver rounding up the homeless ahead of the Democratic convention. What a Utopian world Obama is going to create for us.

Sounds like good old southern “Snake Oil” every time Obama opens his mouth. To quote Steve Earls song Snake Oil “Ain’t Seen a drop since the 10th of June, Crops will burn if it don’t rain soon. Well…. I can can open up the sky, people have no fear, if you ain’t impressed yet, just tell me what you want to hear!”

Neither of these guys McCain or Obama have long term plan for the nation. Look at their answer for the economy………More Rebates? Print more money? Bail out Fraudulent US Companies? I hope the State Dept plan is better than the economics / socialism plans of theses two yo yos.
