The sign “Scruggs Law Firm” has been taken down from the building on the Square in Oxford. I will try to get a picture in this space at some point.
I have been talked out of a somewhat snarky post about Zach Scruggs’s reply on his motion to dismiss. The snark was directed at the tone of false humility the reply seemed to strike, but I’ve been convinced to think better of my original post and will just offer the reply instead. Here is it is.

The responses of both Dickie and Zach are merely spin and damage control. My guess is they realized too late how arrogant the motions to dismiss were and how Judge Biggers will likely, even with the belated agreements for suspension, view them when considering their “acceptance of responsibility” as that factor relates to sentencing. May God have mercy on their souls, but may Biggers nail their worthless hides to the side of a barn.
