Actually, okay, a lot of times the Clarion-Ledger is silly. But the lede sentence of its editorial about the MS Bar task force just made me spew tea all over a poor innocent cat:
If the judicial bribery scandal in Mississippi has dealt a blow to the standing of the Magnolia State’s legal profession, the Bar has now struck back with equal force. …
I wish they had to deal with Ripple here.
Funny! The big hurdle is going to be whether or not the general public believes that the bar is even able to police itself. There are going to be plenty out there who are not going to trust a single thing the task force does (probably me too).
