Thanks for posting this NMC. I noticed it was also posted over on Rossmiller's site when I was doing some googling on some of the characters and references. I don't have time to go over there often.

I sure would never name names without cold hard facts, but have heard it from different sources who would know, that one of the prominent characters mentioned therein has a pension for getting over to the big city and trolling for teenage boys (there is something wrong with that by the way).

Not that this little ditty needed anything else as far as I'm concerned, but when you do write that book, the editor/publisher may want some of the above thrown in for additional flavor. You know, gotta have sex to make this attractive to the dumbed down public to generate those sales!

Also, what is interesting to me is here we have Lackey, who appears from everything you read and hear to be a very genuine person with strong Christian beliefs (I don't think he was being completely honest here in why he did not gather out at the County Supervisor's Good "Ol Boys club) .

I would guess he evidently did not know Tim as well as Tim led everyone to believe in the beginning. As the investigation progressed, and he came to know more about him, his M.O. and the characters he associated with, you can almost see his stomach turn and watch him become more resolved that he was doing the right thing as you read along.

Why do I get the feeling that Balducci probably attempted to deflower every virgin he met with that good ole boy - "I wouldn't want you to do anything you are uncomfortable with" line of crap?
