On Faux News, Karl Rove denies he ever knew Dana Jill Simpson. This is gonna make her interview with Dan Abrams even more interesting. Pretty risky move on Rove’s part, in the face of the evidence — by that I mean Simpson’s sworn testimony to Congress, not just what she said on CBS last night.
Also, the Pentagon’s general counsel, William Haynes — who said of the Gitmo tribunals, “We can’t have acquittals, we’ve got to have convictions” — has resigned.
