It seems like a father would want to protect his son from this sort of thing, and would be deeply ashamed if the son found out. That doesn't appear to be the case here. I would like to have been a fly on the wall when Scruggs pere had a little sitdown with Scruggs fils and explained the facts of life to him. Dickie Scruggs as grammar and punctuation scold is interesting too. Not good for Zach at all.
