WLBT did a segment at 10 last nite. Needless to say Marsha was waaaaaaayyyyyy behind the curve. And as far as the CL goes, at least they seem to be waking up a bit, although I surely wouldn’t call Jerry’s contribution to be “award winning” so far.

  2. lotus says:

Poor Jerry– commenters whacking him upside the head with folo links, etc.

  3. tiredlwyr says:

Sure would like to be with Alyssa right now………..

  4. lotus says:

Me too, TL, but NMC is, so we’ll get it fresh, here directly. Oboyoboyoboy.

  5. DeltaNative says:

Does Folo have eyes and ears on Jackson Ave for today’s hearing?

  6. lotus says:

“Liveblogging on tape-delay,” I guess we can call what NMC’s up to this morning.

  7. lotus says:

Why d’ya think I arranged for the tape-delay this time, Jane? Can’t have that kind of untowardness repeating itself ’round heah.

  8. iratetoday says:

Hood was done some marvelous things such as going after Killen, etc. But at this point he’s so close to the stink that he’s turning into a skunk. The more he tries to answer his critics the more unpolished and unprofessional he appears. He’s acting like a scared rabbit darting every which way until BAM…he gets run over.

  9. DeltaNative says:

    You’re not sending BelleSouth?

  10. lotus says:

Right. Can’t be too keerful. He is, after all, still a lawyer.

    (laughs and runs away)

  11. lotus says:

Dang if she didn’t resign from the blog, DelNat. Our hearts broke.

  12. lotus says:

    (twiddles thumb-petals)

I may have to resort to a Sebass-stories thread to amuse us while we wait. Reckon we’d get us up a quorum for that before long?

  13. magnolia says:

DJournal reporting Balducci took stand this morning…Soon now

  14. iratetoday says:

Clarion Ledger actually has a decent article.

  15. My Thoughts says:

    I don’t know Sebass, so I suggest…. TWISTER!

  16. My Thoughts says:

Go read CL stuff from Jerry Mitchell about Balducci’s testimony this am…

  17. magnolia says:

Before we get NMC’S update it appears to me Balducci had a higher IQ of either Scruggs/Langston but has an insecurity problem with his peers..Lets see if after he was caught there was not a stone unturned. (Pride in his work).

  18. My Thoughts says:

    Not good for Zach…

  19. Dragoman says:

Not good for Zach at all.

It seems like a father would want to protect his son from this sort of thing, and would be deeply ashamed if the son found out. That doesn’t appear to be the case here. I would like to have been a fly on the wall when Scruggs pere had a little sitdown with Scruggs fils and explained the facts of life to him.

Dickie Scruggs as grammar and punctuation scold is interesting too.
