The wife is teaching a night class tonight. I'm home alone --- well, not quite, the dog is with me. We (me and the dog) just finished grilling some country style BBQ ribs ( el cheapo), while listening to Bluesville on XM radio and standing next to an outdoor fire in a fire pit (we MS country folks like to burn shit --especially in the evening, when there is a chill in the air). The ribs never made it off the grill -- me and the dog ate them right off the grill -- I would take a bite, then toss him a bite. Smoked me a GOB cigar out there as well --- Eastland/MS Redneck Sopranos style. And a few Dixie Blackened Voodoo Lager beers to wash it all down-- good stuff. The little misses is still not home, and the evening is still young. Not sure what the dog and me are going to do next (we've run out of BBQ), but we are enjoying the fire and the blues. There are some coyotes howling in the distance. Maybe a late evening coyote hunt? With every beer, its sounding more possible. Hope everyone is having a good Valentines Day evening.
