What are the odds of that?

(Mike the Actuary’s weblog post here, noting that the insurance companies there in Hartford, Conn. would be glad to host a fair trial there for Mr. Scruggs. The Hartford-base of that particular industry is the source of the colloquialism for arson: “Selling it to the Yankees.”)

    Thanks for the heads-up, tired. Since we’re the only “lefties” in the Scruggs-covering game — though doing our best to stay smack on the story’s centerline — I’d have been shocked if they’d contacted us for a quote.

    Some of y’all might have missed our discovery about LNL back in early December . . .
